Until mankind can extend the circle of his compassion to include all living things, he will never, himself, know peace.

SOLO Adoption Policy

In an attempt to find good permanent homes for llamas in need in Southern Oregon. Southern Oregon Llama Owners have formed the following adoption policy:

All llamas must go to a home with llamas or be adopted in pairs.
A small adoption fee may be charged, in some cases.
All males are gelded and adoptive family will agree NOT to breed females.

Please be aware these llamas may not be of show or breeding quality.  They will make great pets, companions, some might be of very nice fiber quality, and perhaps hiking partners, driving prospects, show prospects, packers, or guardians.  These are llamas that have fallen into hard times and need to find new homes.  If you are interested in breeding or show stock please see our list of Southern Oregon Llama Ranches.

If you are interested in adopting a llama please see the adopt a female or adopt a male pages.

Foster Homes

We are always in need of foster homes for llamas that must be removed from their current situation.  Please Contact Chuck Bielskis, 541-582-4228 to see if you could qualify to support us with a foster home.
