Female Llamas Available for Adoption

The following female llamas are available for adoption.  Please remember that llamas are much happier with at least one other llama. Some can live successfully as single guardians of sheep, goats or alpacas.  These animals are available for an adoption fee of $125.  As the llamas are housed at different locations, please contact the person listed for the llama you are interested in.

Havana

Havana is a magnificent 5 yr old female llama.  She is trained to lead, and would make an excellent guard for smaller livestock. She has excellent fiber quality for harvest and spinning.  Havana is current on all vacinations and worming

Miracle

Miracle Miracle is temporarily unavailable for adoption as on 7/15/05 she gave birth to a male cria.  We were unaware that she was pregnant.  She will be available in the future. Miracle was born August '02. She is unregisterable. She could be a nice 4H llama.  She has a fairly straight topline and legs are good and her ears are long.  She has now been shorn, in June, and   her feet have been trimmed. She is current on vaccinations and worming.  This llama has been caught and haltered, but she does need some work.  She will eat grain out of your hand so if she could be handled daily she would come around. Please contact  Chuck Bielskis at 541-582-4228 or email.
